We take off for Barcelona in less than a week!! We already have our flight from Madrid to Rome at the end of Feb, so we have a plan!! We are looking forward to exploring our European roots, not literally, I checked with my aunt and she said the family in Sicily is long gone and the family in Romania is not findable.
We met a family from Canada traveling through Baja in a camper van on their way to Costa Rica with their 3 kids ages 11, 8, and 5 and a giant dog. They were really an inspiration to us, if they can do that then surely Jimmy, Maya and I can travel Europe for 2 months. Still the idea of being away from home for 2 months is a little overwhelming since we love our home so much. But a window of opportunity has presented itself of free time and a little money to spare so we better “git while the gettins good.” Right?
